David Waters, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon and the founder of Platte River Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Waters started Platte River Foot and Ankle Surgeons to provide comprehensive state-of-the-art solutions to foot and ankle pain for his patients. He also felt there was an unmet need for bringing the highest quality of foot and ankle care to the state of Nebraska.

EVAN LENERTZ, DPM, AACFAS
Evan Lenertz, DPM, is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon at Platte River Foot and Ankle Surgeons, which has locations throughout Nebraska. He grew up in Lincoln, where he graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a dual major in biology and microbiology.
Dr. Lenertz received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines, University. Upon graduation, he completed his residency at St. Mary Mercy and St. Joseph Hospitals outside of Detroit, Michigan. There, he was elected Chief Resident by his peers and attending physicians.

DEVIN MUNK, DPM
Dr. Munk’s path to becoming a Podiatric surgeon was shaped by a personal experience that profoundly influenced his career. After experiencing a traumatic fall that resulted in over 20 fractures, he underwent several Foot and Ankle surgeries and an extensive recovery process.
